About Reach Edmonton
Connect, equip, & align.
Reach Edmonton is a homegrown, locally-led movement of pastors and leaders committed to multiplying churches across the Edmonton region. We exist to connect, equip, and align the leaders already on mission, so that more churches get planted across our city, and planted well.

What We Do
Gatherings
We host regular gatherings for pastors and church planters — a place to pray, share what's working, learn from trusted voices, and build real friendships in what can otherwise be isolating work.
Equipping
We curate proven resources, tools, and data from trusted organizations and create cohorts for shared learning to help local churches raise up new leaders and planters.
Alignment
We help leaders see the bigger picture — mapping where Edmonton's population is growing, where churches already exist, and where the gaps are — so multiplication efforts strengthen each other instead of overlapping.
The Team
Josh Thompson
Josh is a pastor and church planter, husband to Jenaye, and father to Elliot and Miles. He helps lead The Pastorate, a ministry strengthening pastors across Canada, and is planting a new church in central Edmonton.
Jeremy Putz
Jeremy is married to Crystal and they have four kids. He pastors Central, a church-planting church in Edmonton, and is passionate about seeing people come to Jesus, leaders raised up for God’s mission, and churches strengthened and multiplied.
Advisory Team
Reach Edmonton is supported by a number of churches invested in seeing the Church in the Edmonton region multiply. Our advisory team is made up of pastors and churches seeking to catalyze new churches and connect with pastors in our city. While Reach is not affiliated with any single denomination, we partner with churches and leaders from a range of traditions who share a common commitment to seeing the gospel reach our city through new churches.
